AQUACARE started it’s initial small unit for commercial production in 2019 with 60 tanks and started breeding angels and guppies. In an year of time we started our first indoor unit with 80+ tanks and 22cement tanks and started discus fish breeding and angel seed production. The seeds were given to farmers in other districts. In the mean time we started selling the fishes we breed across Kerala

Currently AQUACARE consists of 200+ glass tanks 44 cement tanks, RAS system for angel fish fry development.

In 2023 we extended hand on Marine ornamental fish breeding under the guidance of CMFRI vizhinjam and was awarded with the PROGRESSIVE ORNAMENTAL FISH FARMER by VIZHINJAM REGIONAL CENTRE OF ICAR-CMFRI and Best Youth Ornamental Fish Farmer Award in Trivandrum District Cluster in 2023

Today we are producing around 5000 pcs of Oscar per month 30000 of angel fish seed, 6000 platies per week and around 2000 pc of guppies every month.

AQUACARE is collecting fishes from local farmers to support their farming. School students visit our farm for understanding ornamental fish farming as part of school academic curriculum and we also take class on ornamental fish related topics for Government organizations on requests. We are in a progressing path by our never ending learning process in ornamental fish breeding…
